De CAN Test Box is een diagnostische tool voor het direct aansluiten op voertuigen met een OBDII connector ( On board Diagnostic System). Een gemakkelijk tool om snel fouten op te sporen.
- Uit meten van Voedingspanning en ground circuits
- Identificatie van de communicatie link protocollen
- Connect een oscilloscoop voor het weergeven van signalen en het verzamelen van golfvorm data
Hoe werkt het
De CAN Test Box gebruikt een aantal genummerde backlight LEDs die oplichten wanneer een signaal word gedetecteerd op de corresponderende pin van de DLC. Pulserende LEDs geven indicatie signalen wanneer een Hoog of Laag nivo is.
De LEDs indicatie signaleerd als volgt:
- LED 1/9 - 485A/485B (Fabrieks informatie)
- LED 2/10 - Bus+ Line J1850/Bus- Line J1850
- LED 3/8/12/13 - future upgrade
- LED 4 - Chassis GND (GROUND)
- LED 5 - Signaal GND (SIGNAL)
- LED 6/14 - CAN High of SAE J2284/CAN Low of SAE J2284
- LED 7/15 K Line of ISO9141-2 en sleutelwoord 2000485A/L Line of ISO9141-2 een sleutelwoord 2000
- LED 11 - Clock
- LED 16 Batterij + (Voltage supply)
De CAN Test Box allows you to connect your PicoScope oscilloscope, or any other compatible scope, enabling you to monitor any signals present, such as the CAN High and Low signals. The CAN Test Box terminal pin ports are accessible with standard 4 mm jacks.
The CAN Test Box includes a 2.5 metre (8.2 feet) cable so that you can work in a convenient location away from the diagnostic connector, and an additional pass-through connector so that you can hook up your scan tool at the same time as your scope. The box is powered by the diagnostic connector, so no batteries or mains adaptor are needed.
A CD-ROM is included with a training program and a detailed manual showing how to connect the unit to the vehicle and to the scope, and which signals are likely to be found on which pins of the connector.
Heeft mijn voertuig een OBD-II connector?
Alle autos en lichte gebouwd na 1 januari 1996 in de USA zijn uitgevoerd met een OBD II connector. In het algemeen betekend dit alle 1996 bouwjaar modellen zijn compatibel. Zelf vaak gebouwd aan eind 1995.
Er zijn twee manieren waaraan u
kunt zien of uw voertuig is voorzien van een OBD II aansluiting:
1) There will be an OBD II connector as shown below, and
2) There will be a note on a sticker or nameplate under the hood: "OBD II
compliant".

Waar vind ik deze connector?
De OBD connector kunt u meestal
vinden op 1 meter afstand van de bestuurder. U heeft geen gereedschap nodig om
de connector aan te sluiten. Kijk achter de asbak of onder het dashboard voor de
OBD aansluiting.
