The automotive kit is based around the highly successful range of Pico automotive oscilloscopes. De 2-kanaals PicoScope 4224 en de 4-kanaals PicoScope 4424 zijn hoge resolutie oscilloscopen die geschikt zijn voor algemeen wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Met een 12-bit resolutie (instelbaar tot 16 bits in de uitgebreide resolutie mode) en 1% nauwkeurigheid is deze 4000 scope serie een prima keuze voor storing, trillings en mechanisch analyse.

De PicoScope 4000 Series heeft een input ranges van ±50 mV tot ±100 V volle schaal, zodat u kleine signalen kunt meten van sensors maar ook hoge voltages kan meten van een power supply of een motor driver.

De PicoScope 4224 en 4424 worden geleverd met  PicoScope oscilloscope software. PicoScope is uw  complete test en meet Lab in één behuizing. Ook heeft deze scope een professionele oscilloscoop met geavanceerde mogelijkheden, zoals digitale persistence, wiskundige functies en geautomatiseerde metingen. PicoScope software beschikt over de mogelijkheid om uw PicoScope 4224 of 4424 te gebruiken als spectrum analyzer. De PicoScope sofware is vrij te gebruiken op net zoveel computers als u wilt, en word regelmatig ge- update met nieuwe toepassingen en slimmigheidjes. De oscilloscope bundel kit is ontworpen om alles direct ter beschikking te hebben in 1 sterke koffer. Elke oscilloscoop kit bevat een PicoScope PC Oscilloscope (PCO) te samen met 1 stuks X1/X10 passieve oscilloscope probe voor iedere scope channel. Ook wordt mee geleverd de USB 2.0 kabel om de oscilloscoop te koppelen aan uw PC, een snelstart gids en een CD-ROM met de data logging software (engelse taal).

CAN Bus decodering in PicoScope

De recente beta versie van PicoScope is nu beschikbaar om te downloaden van Pico Labs. Deze versie omvat een totaal nieuwe CAN bus decodering's functie,  deze versie kan CAN bus Data pakketten van verschillende data snelheden inlezen.

De CAN (Controller Area Network) Bus is word wereldwijd gebruikt in de wereld van automotive, industrie en medische controle systemen voor betrouwbare signalering tussen control units in elektrische stoorbronnen. het is een serieel protocol, normaal gesproken met differentiaal signalering maar ook een enkel draads systeem volstaat. Met de PicoScope CAN Bus decoderende eigenschap wordt gestreefd naar perfectie voor o.a  voertuigontwerpers, aftermarket materiaalontwerpers en gevorderde troubleshooters, die meer dan enkel foutcodes moeten bekijken.

Hier enkele hoogtepunten:

  • Grafisch in-view display - De gedecodeerde data word getoond direct onder de ruwe golfvorm, het is mogelijk om een lange stroom van data te zien gelijktijdig met het controleren van de  noise en korte storingen
  • Tabular display - Geeft alle CAN pakketten in overzicht weer, of de gehele golfvorm buffer, met data kolommen die verborgen kunnen worden wanneer ze niet nodig zijn.
  • Filtering - Voor het verlagen van tubulentie op het signaal, PicoScope kan zo alleen een weergave tonen van hetgeen u ook daadwerkelijk wilt zien
  • "Start VAN" - Monitor de data stream totdat een specifiek packet verschijnt, dan start te logging
  • Werkt met standaard PicoScopen -Het is niet nodig om uw hardware te upgraden: U hoeft alleen maar de gratis software update te installeren op uw computer. De snelheid en geheugen capaciteit hangt af van de specificaties van uw pico scope. Wel adviseren wij een scope zoals de  4000 of 5000 Serie.
  • Single-ended en differentiaal modes - Kies wat u wilt decoderen CAN High of CAN Low, handig voor enkeldraads CANbus systeem, of gebruik twee scope kanalen voor het decoderen van het volledige Can bus differentiaal signaal
  • Instelbare data snelheid - Decodeert iedere snelheid van de CAN Bus van kilobits tot megabits
  • Wegschrijven naar een file - save een tabel van de CANbus data in komma gescheiden tekst formaat
  • Zoom overview - wanneer u ingezoomd bent, verschijnt er een smal overzichts window gebied en laat dit gemarkeerde gebied duidelijk zie op het display ten opzichte van de gehele golfvorm. U kunt nu simpel verslepen en wijzigen van het formaat in plaats van het gebruiken van zoom tools.
